In this tutorial, I will show how to install & set up some components on Ubuntu 22.04 using the DigitalOCean droplet server to support and work with Python-based web applications like Django. Next, I will demonstrate to you how to configure the Gunicorn application server to function with the NGINX web server. After that, I will also set up NGINX to reverse proxy to Gunicorn, providing us access to its performance and security options to serve our apps.
Requirements need to Run a VPS server with NGINX and Gunicorn
- DigitalOcean account and able to create a new droplet server
- Basic knowledge using a command-line interface (CLI)
- Bitvise to use as a Secure file transfer and terminal shell to connect to the DigitalOcean droplet server.
